Summary:
In Cardiac Catheterization, Registered Nurses provide proper care, patient evaluation and education for both in- and out-patients following prescribing schedules, physician orders, competencies, protocols and utilizing proper equipment and procedures. You will be responsible for circulating and monitoring diagnostic and interventional procedures, device implants and basic electrophysiology studies, administering sedation per physician order, restocking supplies, assisting in patient prep and instructing patients in Catheterization and Angioplasty procedures, and assisting with TEEs and cardioversions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-year experience in an interventional lab.
- Current angioplasty experience preferred.
- Current RN license in the state of NH and ACLS certification required.
