Position Summary:

The Phlebotomy Supervisor will supervise all operations related to phlebotomy, and its associated quality and business activities across the laboratory phlebotomy departments.  The incumbent will focus on the needs of our patients, clients and staff to ensure accuracy from the point of specimen collection so as to provide the highest quality testing, customer service and patient care.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED  required.
  • Associate’s degree in medical or biological science field preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license, and proof of automobile insurance coverage is required throughout duration of appointment.  A motor vehicle background report will be conducted.
  • ASCP Phlebotomy certification required.
  • A minimum of three-five (3-5) years of phlebotomy experience required.  
  • Prior leadership experience preferred.
  • Phlebotomy knowledge required.
  • Participation in accreditation inspections, State of NH Collecting Station inspections, and experienced with phlebotomy laboratory guidelines.
  • Computer proficiency required
  • Excellent customer service skills. 
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
