As a member of the Patient Care Services team, Clinical Assistants coordinate administrative functions of assigned patient care areas and facilitates patient flow throughout the department. Clinical Assistants function as an area receptionist; collecting and documenting basic patient care information as delegated. You will prepare and maintain patient records with appropriate data elements; perform basic patient care activities and related services while maintaining a safe patient care environment.
30-bed adult med/surg department serving a patient population that consists of orthopedics, neurosurgical and general medicine and general surgical. 3 East is a medical / surgical unit located on the third floor of the East building. It consists of 8 semi-private and 18 private rooms where staff provides care to patients 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. Eleven patient rooms include ceiling mounted lifts.
- Completed LNA program.
- Current New Hampshire LNA licensure.
- Basic medical terminology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to comprehend and communicate in English.
