Job Responsibilities:

As a member of the Patient Care Services team, Clinical Assistants coordinate administrative functions of assigned patient care areas and facilitate patient flow throughout the department. Clinical Assistants function as area receptionists; collecting and documenting basic patient care information as delegated. You will prepare and maintain patient records with appropriate data elements; perform basic patient care activities and related services while maintaining a safe patient care environment. 

4 West is a 22-bed unit located on the fourth floor of the West building. It is an all-private room unit where staff provides care to patients’ 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. 4 West can monitor up to 16 patients on telemetry. There are three negative pressure isolation rooms. Eleven patient rooms include ceiling-mounted lifts. Predominant patients include Stroke, sepsis, diabetes, wound care, renal failure, continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis, and COPD.


  • Completed LNA program.
  • Current New Hampshire LNA licensure.
  • Basic medical terminology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to comprehend and communicate in English.
