Job Responsibilities:
Clinical Assistants are a combination of HUCs & LNA's. As a member of the Patient Care Services team, Clinical Assistants coordinate administrative functions of assigned patient care areas and facilitate patient flow throughout the department. Clinical Assistants function as area receptionists; collecting and documenting basic patient care information as delegated. You will prepare and maintain patient records with appropriate data elements; perform basic patient care activities and related services while maintaining a safe patient care environment.
SNHMC has nine operation room suites, two block bays, and 10 PACU bays, and two pediatric bays (but can accommodate as many as needed). Services range from elective and non-elective procedures & our board-certified surgeons, experienced nurses, and dependable support staff are dedicated to caring for our community compassionately and safely. Our operating rooms and pre- and post-op areas in both facilities are designed with safety, privacy, and comfort in mind.
Qualifications:
- Completed LNA program.
- Current New Hampshire LNA licensure.
- Basic medical terminology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to comprehend and communicate in English.
