Job Responsibilities:

As a member of the Patient Care Services team, Clinical Assistants coordinate administrative functions of assigned patient care areas and facilitate patient flow throughout the department. Clinical Assistants function as area receptionists; collecting and documenting basic patient care information as delegated. You will prepare and maintain patient records with appropriate data elements; perform basic patient care activities and related services while maintaining a safe patient care environment. 

4 East is a 31-bed telemetry unit located on the fourth floor of the East building. It has 17 private and 7 semi-private rooms where staff provides care to patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 4 East can monitor up to 30 patients on telemetry. Currently, houses one semi-private dialysis tandem room. Thirteen private rooms and two semi-private rooms include ceiling-mounted lifts. Predominant patients include adult cardiac (heart attack, stroke, catheterization recovery, pulmonary embolism, etc.), diabetic and endocrine disorders, neurological and renal disorders, med/surg overflow

Qualifications:

  • Completed LNA program.
  • Current New Hampshire LNA licensure.
  • Basic medical terminology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to comprehend and communicate in English.
