About Us:
Amherst Obstetrics & Gynecology is a patient-centric practice catering to the well-being of women and expectant mothers. Summary:
Responsible for performing and communicating results of diagnostic exams using ultrasound and other related procedures.
Qualifications:
· High School diploma or equivalent.
· Graduate of Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
· Current certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
· Prior experience in a related healthcare setting.
· Knowledge of sonographic equipment.
· Ability to communicate results to a physician.
· Must have the ability to deal with emergent situations.
· Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
· Ability to remain focused on detailed work with multiple distractions.
· Caring and compassionate customer service orientation in dealing with patients.
