Under relatively close supervision, performs a variety of tasks associated with the installation, maintenance, calibration and repair of basic biomedical equipment in accordance with the hospital’s Medical Equipment Management Plan.
· Associate degree, technical school certificate or equivalent.
· 1-3 years of general electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
· Basic knowledge of engineering terminology and a general understanding of human
· Can operate basic electronic equipment such as DVM’s and oscilloscopes as well as
basic hand tools.
· Can operate standard office equipment.
· Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments.
