Summary:


As a member of the Patient Care Services team, the ACCESS Team Clinician conducts crisis intervention and emergency psychiatric assessments on inpatients and patients in the Emergency Department, utilizing appropriate crisis intervention techniques to stabilize patient and family. 


 


Qualifications:


·       Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling  or Mental Health Related Field.


·       License eligible as a LICSW or LCMHC in New Hampshire.


·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


·       Ability to achieve the following competencies  within 30 days:


o   Psychosocial/Mental Status Assessment


o   Suicide Risk Assessment


o   Psychiatric Triage


o   Initiation of Involuntary Emergency Admission (IEA)


o   Pre-Certification Process


o   Referral to Community Resources


·       Within 90 days:


o   Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)
